I would like to know about the payment method of my water bill.

1 Payment through "account transfer"

(1) The bill is paid automatically through your account with the remittance handling financial institution.

(2) The account transfer date is 11th of the following month of the month when the meter is checked. (When the financial institution is closed on 11th, it's transferred on the next business day.)

(3) The notice of the water bill that has been paid through account transfer will be delivered at the next meter check.

(4) How to apply :

You can apply at the financial institution which handles the account transfer service, or you can also apply by mailing the application form for the account transfer payment to Waterworks Bureau. The application form is enclosed with the Guide provided when you start using water supply at the beginning.

(5) Required Items for the application :

(a) Your water meter number (It's mentioned on “Notice of water consumption” or “Receipt of water charge”.)

(b) Any document describing your account number such as bankbook

(c) Registered seal used with the financial institution

2 Payment by credit card

(1) This is a payment system that the bill is paid automatically every time by credit card.

(2)  Settlement date shall be the beginning of the month following the month in which the water meter was checked.

(3) Please check the related URL for the precautions on the credit card payment.

(4) How to apply:

Please apply online via PCs, tablets, smartphones on the internet, etc. Please check the related URL for the application website.

(5) Required items for the application:

(a) “Payment Number” and “Confirmation Number” mentioned on the “Notice of Water Consumption”.

(b) Credit card

3 Payment with the“Payment Notice”

Please settle the payment at the financial institution which handles the service, the designated convenience store, or the service counter at the Waterworks Bureau by the due date. Additionally, *Mobile Payment is also available. By requesting the Waterworks Bureau Customer Center in advance, the water bill payment notice can be arranged to be mailed to the address other than the place where the water service is actually used.

* LINEPay, PayPay, auPAY, d-payment, J-coin are available.

Note

You can get the application form for an account transfer at the counter of the branch office of the financial institution, but if you request it to the Water/Sewer Customer Center, the form can be mailed by the Water/Sewer Customer Center.

If the application has just been made and the procedure has not been completed, a statement of payment form may be sent to you.
