Capturing crows and other wild birds is forbidden by the Protection and Control of Wild Birds and Mammals and Hunting Management Law. However, if damage is caused to the environment, you can capture such animals with permission. If damage is being caused, support will generally be provided by staff from the corresponding facility or location (nest). Related city agencies do not capture the animals. See the list below for information on support providers for most cases. To receive capture permission, apply at the Animal Protection Center (Doubutsu Aigo Center). The following examples explain what case to capture wild birds is allowed or not allowed in.
