Although the Ward Residence Section of Ward Office or Citizens' Center of Branch Office with jurisdiction over your registered domicile, address or place of temporary residence will handle the filing of notices concerning your family register, the required documents and notification periods differ depending on the type of filing of notices. The notification forms etc. are available at Ward Residence Section of Ward Offices and Citizens' Center of Branch Offices. (When closing, it is available on the guard room of ward office)

Regarding the Request for Non-acceptance, it processed in permanent address of offeror in the principal, however it is also handled at the Ward Residence Section of ward office and Citizens' Center of branch office at your current address or temporary address.

　(5) Notification of divorce (mediated divorce, divorce by family court arbitration, divorce by reconciliation, divorce by admission, divorce by district court decree)

2. Office hours:

(1) Ward Residence Section of Ward office

Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The 2nd and 4th Saturdays, 8:30am to 0:30pm

(2) Citizens' Center of branch offices

8:30am -5:00pm, Monday - Friday

(Citizens' Center of branch offices are not open on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.)

Notifications are accepted at a guard room of ward office of outside of the above hours. (However, excluding the Request for Non-acceptance of Notification)

3. Holidays: Saturdays (except 2nd and 4th Saturdays), Sundays, National holidays, and December 29th - January 3rd.

(Citizens' Center of branch offices are not open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays.)
