If you have witnessed child abuse or if you suspect a child is being abused, please contact to and consult the Children’s Consultation Center or the Child Abuse Prevention Center.

It is critical to detect abuse early and offer an assistance to the child and the parents.

Please do not worry. Your information will be kept confidential. You may remain anonymous. Please do not hesitate to contact the above centers!

Examples of signs of child abuse

・ You hear a child crying furiously or a parent yelling.

・ A child often suffers unexplained injuries.

・ Clothes, hands and feet are extremely dirty.

・ A child is undernourished and starving for food.

・ A child is reluctant to go back home, or is not allowed to enter his/her house.

・ A parent does not take care of his/her child, or locks him/her in the house.
