The records written on Certificate of All Registered Matters in Family Register (Koseki Tohon), Residence Certificate, Seal Registration are the contents at the time of issuance, so that the certificate itself has no term of validity.
Since the items described in these certificates may change depending on the notification, etc., when using the certificate as an attachment, it is recommended to obtain it within 3 months from the date of issuance.
However, it may differ depending on the place of where it is submitted, please confirm with the place where the certificate is to be submitted in advance.
Note
In case of applying for passport in Kanagawa Prefecture, the expiration date of Certificate of All Registered Matters in Family Register is
→ within 6 months from issuance.
