Kawasaki City has started to distribute emergency information such as disaster related information and evacuation orders by using emergency warning e-mail since July 27, 2011.

The emergency warning e-mail is means of communication which is relatively immune to communication restriction or congestion in the event of a disaster and promptly delivers emergency information related to civil protection, evacuation instructions, and so on through mobile phones and smart phones to residents in the area.

Besides, there's no need to pre-register and pay reception fees.

[Information to be released]

When Kawasaki City is included as one of the areas of the disaster in the following, we inform by the emergency warning e-mail:

・The information related to mega-tsunami alarm. Tsunami and earthquakes prediction information of Tokai area etc.

・The information for civil protection such as ballistic missiles, large-scale terrorist attacks, landing invasions, and air strikes

・Evacuation information such as evacuation recommendation, evacuation instructions, evacuation preparation etc.

・Other information with high urgency that is considered to be important to protect people's lives, bodies, or properties. (e.g, Sediment-related Disaster Warning Information, flood forecasts of designated rivers, etc...)

Please note that test e-mails may be sent for the City's comprehensive disaster prevention drills etc.

・au and Softbank Mobile or Rakuten Mobile: Emergency Bulletin Mail "Disaster and Evacuation Information"
